Working with Popular Themes

Product Videos for WooCommerce is designed to work with any theme that uses the standard WooCommerce product gallery. If your theme correctly uses the default WooCommerce templates and hooks, our plugin will integrate seamlessly.

Officially Tested Themes

We have personally tested and confirmed full compatibility with the following popular themes:

• Storefront (The official WooCommerce theme)
• Astra
• Flatsome
• Divi
• Genesis Framework
• GeneratePress
• Hello Elementor
• Neve
• Kadence
• Go

If you are using one of these themes, you can be confident that your product videos will work as expected.

Unsupported Themes & Scenarios

Due to how they are built, some themes and configurations will not work with our plugin.

• Full Site Editing (FSE) Themes: Themes that rely on the new Block-Based theme structure and use the Product Gallery Block are not currently supported. This is because FSE themes bypass the classic template system that our plugin relies on.
• Themes with Custom Galleries: Some themes replace the standard WooCommerce product gallery with their own custom-coded solution (using JavaScript libraries like Slick or Swiper, for example). If a theme does not use the standard WooCommerce gallery hooks, our plugin will not be able to add videos to it.

How to Check for Conflicts

If you are having trouble, the best way to check for a theme conflict is to:

1. Temporarily switch your site to the default Storefront theme.
2. Check your product page.

If your videos appear correctly with the Storefront theme active, the issue is with your theme’s custom gallery implementation. In this case, you may need to contact your theme’s developer for assistance or reach out to our support team to see if we can provide a workaround.
